Kirklees Metropolitan Borough Council offer a range of cheaper car parks and some may even be free at certain times. From their website you should be able to find a list of their car park locations, the amount of spaces, prices and facilities like toilets and disabled parking bays. Councils often grade their car parks for day visitors (long term or day parking) or shoppers (short stay parking). You can save yourself a lot of money by finding the address of the right one for your visit.

Golcar is a village located on a hillside crest above the Colne Valley in West Yorkshire, England, 4 km west of Huddersfield, and just north of the River Colne and the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. The main access route is from the A62, through Milnsbridge in the bottom of the valley or via Scapegoat Hill from the A640 at the top of the hill.
