Details of Leeds City Council's Blue Badge car parking scheme for blind, disabled or those with servere walking dificulties. The Blue Badge scheme provides a range of parking benefits and other motoring concessions for people with severe mobility difficulties who travel either as drivers or as passengers. It is designed to assist the disabled and people with severe mobility problems who have difficulty using public transport and allows them to be parked near shops, stations and other facilities. Formerly the Orange Badge Scheme.

Gildersome is a village in the City of Leeds metropolitan borough 5 miles (7 km) south west of Leeds City Centre in West Yorkshire, England.It is situated midway between Leeds, Wakefield and Bradford but is considered part of Morley in the LS27 postcode area while the village telephone numbers are "0113", the Leeds prefix. Gildersome was an Urban district 1894-1937, and was then part of Morley Municipal borough 1937-1974.
